Darkness & the Light

"Darkness & the Light" is a thought-provoking , multi-platform project, that examines contemporary race issues and their intersection with Christian faith, while also exploring the historical implications of the transatlantic slave trade. Hosted by celebrated Sierra Leonean filmmaker and pastor Arthur Pratt, the series aims to foster meaningful conversations that bridge gaps between African immigrants and descendants of slaves in the Americas.

We are contributing to a movement that aims to foster understanding and promote justice through the lens of faith. By examining the historical and contemporary intersections of race, religion and morality, we seek to create a space where individuals can confront challenges and seek solutions rooted in compassion and understanding. We invite you to join us on this journey of exploration, reflection, and action as we search through the ashes of our dark past & illuminate the path toward a shared future
